This blog/novel/creative writing collection has now been kept for a year! I haven’t got anything in particular planned, but if all goes well, there should be a nice surprise for you all in the making.

As most of you will have noticed, I’m no longer updating with any creative stuff. Currently, there is a lot of university things going on, such as those all-important, stupid exams. I hope you are all enjoying the excerpts from my learnings, and are willing to hang around until I put up a few more creative things. I’m still working on them, just very slowly.

I updated the ‘Accreditations’, ‘FAQ’ and ‘Thanks’ pages today, so if you wondered why they weren’t right, well, they are now.

My Birthday

Hi, and as you may have guessed, today is my birthday.

My 18th to be precise.

Make my day special, comment and/or donate to my cause. Either way, you might make me happy (doubtful, but we have to hope).

Think of it this way, you aren’t donating to my drinks or my party (I don’t drink alcohol), you are donating to the ongoing posting of this novel. And it just happens to be my birthday, which is also good.

hiatus

From now, anything going up is going to be a bonus. I am simply too busy with Muse’s Success, my multiple uni courses and general life to write anything much at the moment. I want to say thanks for reading, and hopefully all will be going again in about a month.

Ooo, guess what? It’s Chris’ birthday today. And in honour, there is a chapter up for everyone. Well, it would have happened anyway, but still…it’s the thought that counts, right?

I may not be 18 yet, but I do know how to cheer my friends up. The minute my exams are over, you are going to spend time with me. And we will have fun. That’s a promise.

Ugh, my head

Things haven’t improved since yesterday. The sound of the keyboard is very painful to my ears. I’m still feeling nauseous-sick as well, which is doing nothing for the worry about going back to uni tomorrow. I have about 7 hours straight. I don’t think I’m going to stay for lectures, even though at this point I am very, very behind. Don’t forget those tests I have on Friday. I think failing those will just have to happen. I can’t concentrate when I feel so sick, and trying to just make my head hurt more.

Breathing is not coming easily to me either, passing out is a very real possiblity. I hate being sick! Don’t we all… Funny how I write the most blog-like stuff when I am sick.

I gave this cold/bug to my boyfriend as well, so he had to come home from school camp early. that’s what we get for being so close I guess. It’s not fair at all. He might actually be more sick than me, but I know that it’s definetly going to have worse consequences for me.

Back to bed for me I think, see if I can get my brain working again. Moving house next week, must be pulled together by then.

Sick

Ugh, I have come down with a lovely Winter cold. Unfortunatly for me, it happened in the week I have two assignements and two tests due. I don’t think for some reason that I am going to do well on any of them. I had to go into uni for a compulsory practical class and I passed out at the end of it. I don’t think I get sympathy marks though. The cold has left me feeling even more tired than usual, and I don’t think I’m going to get anything creative produced, especially with the looming tests.

Other news includes that I am moving house next Monday, then after 6 months moving somewhere else once parents buy a house. Should be fun. Except for the fact they are planning on moving away from the Mornington Peninsula and that means leaving my David and Chris behind.

Plans for my 18th birthday are going ahead very slowly. Parents woudl like me to have a party, but I don’t really have a great history with parties. I was thinking maybe just a quiet night at home, spending time on my msn or catching up on the work I need to do. My birthday happens to fall within the uni holidays week which is good.

My soon to be sister-in-law sent me books. I wasn’t expecting them, and my goodness did I feel special. They are really good too. I doubt it would be possible to find them in Australia. Thank god for Jenny!

Well, back to the attempted study for me.

I lied slightly when I said I wasn’t writing anything at the moment. I have been writing, problem is it’s all by hand. I don’t have the time at the moment to type it all up, and there is noone else around I would trust (or be able to get the material to) to do it for me.

The moving of house is going very slowly, and painfully. Plus all those classes I am missing out on because I’m not going in to uni for lectures, I’m staying to pack.

Well, back to the packing and attempting to do assignments….
